SEG 2019
[ SANTIAGO , CHILE ] The 2019 edition of South American Metallogeny ( SEG ) is themed around the latest discoveries of mineral deposits in the region and their geomet . Get hands on by booking your place on one of the p-conference field trips to the IOCG systems of the Carajás Province at the Amazon Craton in Northern Brazil , or the epithermal ore deposits of Northern Chile . Post- conference field trips include a visit to the Andean IOCG deposits in Chile ’ s Atacama region . Workshops will investigate integrating hyperspectral technologies and geochemistry through the mining value
chain to complement technical presentations at the conference on a range of mineral deposits . Featured speakers include prominent geologists in industry and academia including Richard Sillitoe and Lluis Fontboté .
