Cesar Cruz-Saco , current CEO of Joy Global Peru , is a mechanical engineer graduated from Pontifical Catholic University of Peru ( PUCP ) in 1984 .
He quickly positioned himself as the Manager of Services for P & H MineProServices Peru SAC , were he was responsible for the assembly and support of P & H equipment in the country . By January 2005 he was working as the Technical Manager for Joy Global Chile , and in July 2007 he took over as the CEO of Joy Global ( Peru ) SAC .
Prior to his introduction in the mining industry , Cruz- Saco worked in education , agriculture ( cocoa processing ), and fishing .
