The US Department of Energy will invest US $ 164m across nine projects to advance critical mineral recovery, including scandium, copper and antimony. The funding aims to strengthen supply chains, commercialise emerging technologies and support US energy, defence and economic security.

FORTUNA PAID US $ 200M TO CONSOLIDATE SENEGAL GOLD GROUND
Fortuna Mining has completed its US $ 200m acquisition of Senegal’ s Bambadji gold project, expanding its Diamba Sud operations. The 190-square-kilometre project will receive an initial US $ 8m exploration budget, including 51,000 metres of drilling across multiple drill-defined prospects.
